The second variation of the Telecaster Custom was introduced in 1972, and was a landmark development for Fender, combining their wide range humbucker pickup and classic single coil bridge position sound, offering a level of versatility that proved hugely popular with players of the time. This model from 1978 features a slab body with three bolt neck design. The neck is comfortable and smooth to play, while the original Seth Lover designed Wide Range Humbucker pickup sounds fantastic, combing the fuller sound of a Gibson style humbucker with the brilliance and clarity of a typical Fender pickup.
This guitar is in very good condition, and has had some changes over the course of its life. The original blonde finish has been stripped, leaving the beautiful natural wood grain of the body.
