An excellent example of the more affordable end of vintage Fender guitars, this 1978 Fender Stratocaster Hardtail showcases many of the features that these '70s made Fender instruments became known for. Featuring a Maple neck an Alder body, and the distinctive larger headstock that makes these guitars so recognisable.
This guitar is in very good condition, with some small areas of play wear to the body. The pickups, electronics and hardware are all original, including the string-through-body hardtail bridge, giving this guitar an added resonance and woody tone that is not normally associated with a tremolo fitted Stratocaster. At some point, the guitar has been fitted with a locking nut, however this has been professionally replaced with a traditional nut and the wood around it filled.
As with all our instruments, this guitar has been given a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
