This 1977 Ibanez 2470 is a stunning 17" full-hollow body archtop, inspired by the iconic Gibson L-5 CES. Crafted in Japan during the peak of the 'lawsuit era' of Japanese guitar production, this guitar boasts a carved solid spruce top, laminate flamed maple back and sides, and elegant ivory multi-ply binding, delivering vintage style and premium build quality.

The maple neck is paired with a bound ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlays, with an equally resplendent pearl inlaid script Ibanez logo. Equipped with the original Ibanez 'Smooth Tuner' machine heads and a set of vintage Super 70 humbuckers, the 2470 delivers warm, articulate tones perfect for jazz, blues, or rock.

This 1977 Ibanez 2470-NT is in very good condition, with only minor cosmetic wear consistent with its age. It is internally and externally original, with no evidence of any repair work. This guitar also retains its original case.

As with all our vintage instruments, this guitar has been given a thorough service by the Vintage Instrument Workshop and is guaranteed for 2 years in line with our vintage instrument warranty. Get an additional 3 years workshop warranty cover with the No.Tom Guitars Extended Warranty
