The Hagstrom Jimmy D'Aquisto model was first produced in the late 1960's as a collaboration by Swedish guitar maker Hagstrom and renowned American arch top luthier Jimmy D'Aquisto. This model from 1977 features a 16" body constructed from an arched laminated spruce top with a birch body and neck, and bound rosewood fretboard. It incorporates elements of D'Aquisto's previous arch top guitars, such as the asymmetrical headstock design and pearl inlaid headstock decal. The body is fitted with two humbucking pickups, with a beautifully balanced, warm output that makes them ideal for jazz playing. Other features include stair step tuners, an ornate trapeze tailpiece and block pearloid finger board inlay.

This guitar has benefitted from a service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and is internally and externally original, with the exception of the control knobs which have been replaced. This guitar also includes a 3 year warranty.
