This 1978 Antoria Firebird is a wonderful example of a Japanese made 'lawsuit' era guitar, with a craftsmanship and attention to detail that belies its price point. Guitars manufactured in Japan during this period, particularly those from the FujiGen factory, are notorious for their build quality and attention to detail. This Antoria Firebird features a mahogany body with a sunburst finish akin to that of a '60s Gibson made Firebird, along with a mahogany neck that sports a comfortable 'D' shaped profile, and a rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is in excellent condition, with only very minor signs of play wear to speak of to the rear of the body. All hardware appears to be original, including the bridge, vibrato tailpiece and banjo style tuners. Internally, the pickups, pots and wiring are original and undisturbed, although there are no dateable codes on the pots as is common with Japanese made instruments from this period.
