Manufactured between 1973 and 1986 in Westerly, RI, the Guild G-37 was intended to be an affordable arch back dreadnought. These guitars have gained a kind of cult appreciation over the years, and are now seen as excellent and relatively affordable instruments. Constructed from a Spruce top and Maple back and sides, the arch back design gives this G-37 plenty of volume, while the Maple makes for a very bright tone with a quick attack. The maple neck features a rosewood board, along with chrome Kolb tuners and a belly down rosewood bridge. The neck is a comfortable 'C' style profile, and the lacquer has yellowed nicely over the years giving this G-37 a great aged blonde look.
This guitar is in excellent condition, with very few signs of wear to speak of. This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
