A great workhorse Guild dreadnought, this 1974 Guild D40 was manufactured in the Westerly, Rhode Island factory and is in fantastic condition. Constructed from a Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides, this D40 has a rich, warm sound with a great deal of projection. It is also uncharacteristically lightweight compared to many other Guild acoustics of this period. The classic understated D40 look is finished off with a celluloid guard and Guild 'Chesterfield' head stock logo.
This guitar is in excellent all original condition and includes a hard case.
