Introduced in 1964, the Fender Vibro Champ evolved the original student-grade Champ by adding Fender’s signature tremolo circuit. Despite its compact size, the Vibro Champ delivers a surprisingly full and expressive sound, and has long been a favourite with home players and studio musicians alike. Its smooth natural breakup, rich saturation and unmistakable Fender valve sparkle make it a hugely characterful small amplifie.
This 1973 Fender Vibro Champ features 5W of output through an 8 inch speaker cone. This Vibro Champ is in very good cosmetic condition, with some changes over the years to keep it running as it should. The pre & power tube cathode bypass caps have been replaced, as has one pot, with the rest dating to 1972 or 1973. It runs on 240V UK power.
