1975 Fender Telecaster Custom Sold Out Sold Out The second variation of the Telecaster Custom was introduced in 1972, and was a landmark development for Fender, combining their wide range humbucker pickup and classic single coil bridge position sound, offering a level of versatility that proved hugely popular with players of the time. This model from 1975 is a great example, and features a slab body finished in a three tone sunburst and three bolt neck design. The neck is comfortable and smooth to play, while the original Seth Lover designed Wide Range Humbucker pickup sounds fantastic, combing the fuller sound of a Gibson style humbucker with the brilliance and clarity of a typical Fender pickup. This guitar is in very good condition, with play wear and buckle rash primarily on the back of the instrument, with the rest of it in great shape. There is also some slight patina to the metal hardware and pickguard. The original pots date to the 43rd week of 1975, and both pickups are original and untampered with, along with the hardware and finish. This guitar also includes its original hard case. This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
