Westerly-built Guild acoustics are some of the best affordable vintage guitars around, offering a sweet spot of great tone and affordability when compared to the more expensive offerings from Martin and Gibson. This 1974 Guild D25 is a fantastic example of a player's dreadnought, with a big sound plenty of life left in it.
This particular D25 hails from the early years of Guild's Rhode Island production, following the company’s move from Hoboken in the late '60s. Built with a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, it’s one of the first pressed backed versions of the D25. Plenty of projection and volume, with a slim profile neck that is easy on the hand. This guitar is in very good condition, with only minimal signs of play wear and ageing, and a replacement set of tuners. This guitar also includes a non original case.
As with all our vintage instruments, this guitar has been given a thorough service by the Vintage Instrument Workshop and is guaranteed for 2 years in line with our vintage instrument warranty. Get an additional 3 years workshop warranty cover with the No.Tom Guitars Extended Warranty.
