The Les Paul Custom has been the top of the range Gibson solid body since its introduction in 1954. This 1974 Gibson Les Paul Custom is a great example of a '70s Les Paul, with a 3 piece maple top finished in tobacco sunburst. This guitar features a Mahogany / Maple / Mahogany pancake body and neck along with a Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard, with the deluxe pearl block inlays and split diamond peghead logo found on all custom models. The Grover tuners and other hardware are all gold, as was the standard for this model, and the tobacco burst finish is in good condition. The original Pat No. hum bucker pickups are present and correct.
This guitar is in all original condition, with the electronics appearing original, with the only two readable codes showing dates of the 12th week of 1974 (137 7412)
As with all our vintage instruments, this guitar has been given a thorough service by the Vintage Instrument Workshop and is guaranteed for 3 years in line with our vintage instrument warranty. This guitar also includes its original case.
