The Martin D-28 has developed a rich history over the years, and is seen by many as a true workhorse acoustic flat top, having been used by countless musicians across folk and rock music. This 1973 Martin D-28 is a perfect example of a Martin dreadnought of the period. With a nicely aged Spruce top and Indian Roswood back and sides, this guitar really sings and is very well balanced tonally. The typically understated look of this model is exactly as you would expect, with a black pickguard and set of Rotomatic Grover tuners, while the Rosewood grain on the back is particularly striking.

This guitar is in very good condition cosmetic condition. The top shows signs of play wear and lacquer colouring and checking, and the guitar has previously been fitted with a piezo pickup. The lower corner of the pickguard has also been previously re-glued. This guitar has been given a full service & appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop. This guitar also includes a 3 year warranty.
