Introduced in the Martin catalog in 1965, the Martin D-12/20 was the companies first 12 string model, designed as a relatively affordable 12 string flattop for working musicians. This model from 1971 is a fantastic example of an affordable vintage Martin, featuring a nicely aged Spruce top and Mahogany back, sides & neck. Similar to the D-18, the D-12/20 has a more stripped back, roots-y look than other Martin dreadnoughts of the time, but still has all the beautifully balanced, rounded tonal character.

This guitar is in excellent condition, with some play wear to the top and back, and lacquer ageing to the Spruce, but this is on the more minimal side of things. This guitar is all original with the exception of the 6 a-side tuners, which have been replaced. This guitar includes a non original hard case.

As with all our vintage instruments, this guitar has been given a thorough service & setup by the Vintage Instrument Workshop and is guaranteed for 3 years in line with our vintage instrument warranty.
