The Watkins Copicat is the undisputed king of British tape echoes. While the early valve units paved the way, the 1970s Solid State models (Mk III and Mk IV) became the industry workhorse due to their improved reliability, lower noise floor, and superior tape transport. Retaining the unmistakable "swells" and "oscillations" that defined the sound of the 60s and 70s.
This particular unit is in full working order, but has been modded so that the output jack now sits on the front plate rather than the side. It's also missing the original lid.
As with all our vintage amps and effects, this has been given a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3-month warranty.
