Produced during the 1960s by Italian manufacturer Eko in Recanati, the Florentine is a distinctive semi hollow electric from a period when the company was one of Europe’s largest guitar exporters. This 1965 example captures the bold styling typical of Eko’s mid 1960s designs.
The guitar features a double cutaway maple body finished in a vibrant redburst, paired with a slim neck and distinctive European styling throughout. Electronics include the model’s characteristic low output pickups and 4 way multi switch control layout, offering a range of tonal options unique to these instruments.
Other features include a vibrato tailpiece and the eye catching appointments that define Eko guitars from this era.
