One of the most iconic and sought after of all Gibson made flat tops, this 1964 j-200 is one of the most beautiful examples we have had in store for some time. One of the most deluxe models of the period, this guitar features a Spruce top with Maple back and sides, along with a five piece Maple neck. The bridge and fretboard are ordained with beautiful mother of pearl inlays, and the traditional ornate pickguard.
This guitar is in very good condition for its ages with only minor signs of lacquer checking. The adjustable saddle has been replaced with a fixed position one, and there is the sign of a former strap button hole having been filled at the base of the neck. This guitar includes its original case.
