The Gibson ES-120T was introduced in 1962 as the companies student model electric arch top. This 1964 model is a wonderful example of just how fun to play these guitars can be, in exceptionally clean condition.
The thin line arch top body is fully hollow and features only one 'F' hole, with the other side of the top featuring a thicker, larger pick guard that houses all of the guitars electronics. The Melody Maker single coil pickup pairs nicely with the hollow body design, offering a familiar warm arch top tone that is a little brighter and cuts through a little more than other pickup options would. The mahogany set neck features a comfortable profile that is full feeling without being chunky.
This guitar is in excellent condition, with only the most minimal signs of play wear to speak of. It is internally and externally original, and includes a later case.
As with all vintage instruments, this 1964 ES-120T has been given a full service by the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
