National have long been revered as some of the finest instruments made both pre-war and post-war in the US, with their resonators, flat tops and lapsteels synonymous with the Americana styling of that Mid-Century period. This 1951 National Dynamic Lapsteel is an excellent example of the kind of stylish looks and stellar tone found on these instruments. The Dynamic model was the first post-war square body lapsteel produced by National, with a bevelled top and cream finish. The design of this National Dynamic features the colourful 'visual octave' fingerboard, and the Focused Power provides a full sounding, versatile output with great clarity and definition across the strings.

This lapsteel has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty. the electronics and hardware are original and in very good condition, with the exception of tuner buttons which have been replaced, and one control knob with has also been changed.
