Harmony guitars offer some of the best value among vintage instruments, covering a wide variety of shapes and styles across both electric and acoustic models, each with a character and tone distinct from the more mainstream guitar makers of the era. Like Kay, Silvertone, and similar brands, Harmony instruments were built in Chicago and sold through the Sears Roebuck catalogue. Over the years, these guitars have developed a dedicated following, with this 1950s Harmony H1213 Archtone archtop being typical of the companies '50s hollowbody output.

A typical Harmony arch top shape, this H1213 features a sunburst finish with painted multi layer binding and musical note headstock motif. This particular guitar has a typically full bodied acoustic arch top tone, and the kind of chunky late '50s neck profile found on Harmony guitars of the time.

This guitar has benefitted from a neck reset and replacement bridge, along with a service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 2 year warranty.
