Produced in the 1920s, the Bacon & Day Silver Bell was one of the most respected banjos of its era, renowned for its tone and build quality. This example features a Style 1 stained maple rim and resonator with the patented flathead tone ring design that gave the Silver Bell its characteristic projection. It includes nickel-plated hardware and an Oettinger tailpiece.
This banjo is in very good condition and includes a period case.
