Vongon Paragraphs II

The Vongon Paragraphs II is a stereo resonant low pass filter designed to bring expressive modulation and dynamic tonal shaping to guitar, bass, synthesizers, and other audio sources. The latest evolution of Vongon’s four pole filter design, it combines the rich, resonant character of a classic ladder filter with expanded stereo processing and modulation that responds to your playing dynamics.

At its core, Paragraphs II uses the same ladder style filter found in Vongon’s Replay synthesizer, offering precise control over the harmonic content of your signal. It is particularly effective when paired with fuzz and distortion pedals, allowing complex, saturated tones to be reshaped with pronounced resonant sweeps and evolving filter textures. An improved signal to noise ratio also makes it suitable for cleaner sources, including guitar, bass, and electric keyboards, where it can add movement and character without compromising clarity.

The stereo inputs and outputs introduce a greater sense of space, while the modulation functions respond to playing dynamics for a more expressive and interactive experience. Additional connectivity includes a control voltage input and MIDI input, opening up further possibilities for external control and integration with synthesizers and other electronic equipment. Instrument and line level compatibility makes Paragraphs II equally useful in conventional pedalboards and studio setups.
