2024 Gibson Custom Shop 1965 Non-Reverse Firebird

Originally introduced in 1965, the Gibson Non Reverse Firebird marked a dramatic departure from the radical styling of the original reverse body design, adopting a softer, more conventional silhouette while retaining the distinctive character that had already made the Firebird one of Gibson's most innovative solid body models. Produced for only a relatively short period, original Non Reverse Firebirds have become increasingly sought after, with Gibson's Custom Shop faithfully recreating their unique specification and unmistakable sound.

This 2024 Gibson Custom Shop 1965 Non Reverse Firebird is a superb recreation of the original model, finished in a classic Sunburst and built to period correct specification. Fitted with a pair of mini humbucker pickups, it delivers the bright, articulate response and focused midrange that have long distinguished the Firebird from Gibson's larger humbucker equipped models. The lightweight mahogany construction and comfortable neck make for an exceptionally playable instrument, while the understated appointments remain true to the original mid 1960s design.

Presented in excellent original condition and complete with its original Gibson Custom Shop hard case and Certificate of Authenticity.
