2001 National Respohonic Style M1

National Resophonic guitars have become synonymous with slide playing and the blues, continuing the distinctive resonator designs developed by the original National company in the 1920s and 30s. The Style M1 is a tri cone model, using three resonator cones to give it a particularly powerful and complex response, with plenty of volume and the characteristic metallic bite associated with National guitars.

This 2001 example has a shaded burst style finish and the familiar National construction, making for a striking looking instrument as well as a very distinctive sounding one. The tri cone design gives it a slightly different character from the biscuit and single cone models, with a broad, lively response that works particularly well for slide playing.

This guitar is in good overall condition, with some general signs of use consistent with its age. It comes complete with its original National case.

This guitar has been given a full service & setup, by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 2 year warranty.
