2025 Fender Japan FSR Traditional '60s Jazzmaster

Fender Japan has a long standing reputation for producing some of the best value instruments in the company's range, combining excellent build quality with a real attention to vintage detail. This limited FSR Jazzmaster is a particularly cool take on the classic design, finished in Desert Sand with gold anodised hardware and a matching pickguard. Although based on a traditional '60s model, the colour combination gives it the look of an original late '50s Jazzmaster, making for a distinctive and rather striking guitar.

The alder body provides a solid foundation, paired with a bound rosewood fingerboard and a maple neck with a slightly fuller U shaped profile. It feels a little more substantial in the hand than you might expect from a traditional vintage spec Jazzmaster, while the 9.5 inch fingerboard radius and 22 medium jumbo frets make for a comfortable, versatile playing experience. The American Vintage '65 single coil Jazzmaster pickups deliver a lovely rounded sound.

As an exclusive Factory Special Run, this Japanese made Jazzmaster combines familiar vintage styling with a few carefully considered changes that make it a little more practical for modern playing. An eye catching, limited run take on a classic Fender, with a few subtle nods to the earliest Jazzmasters.

This guitar is internally and externally original and in excellent, near unplayed condition, with the factory protective plastic still on the pickup covers. 

This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 2 year warranty.
