2009 Larrivee P-09 'Artist'

The Larrivée P-09 Artist is a well appointed parlour guitar that combines a compact body with the tonal depth and versatility of a full sized acoustic. Part of Larrivée’s long running 09 Artist Series, it is built around a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, a pairing that delivers a balanced response with clear trebles, a full bass and plenty of definition across the frequency range.

The smaller body and 24 inch scale length make the P-09 comfortable to play, while its parabolic X bracing helps produce a surprisingly full and responsive sound for an instrument of this size. The mahogany neck is paired with an ebony fingerboard and bridge, with a 1¾ inch nut width providing plenty of room for fingerstyle playing. The gloss finish is accompanied by maple binding, an abalone rosette, multi strip purfling and a tortoiseshell style pickguard.

This 2009 example is a left handed model and remains in excellent condition. This guitar also includes its original case. 

This guitar has been given a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 2 year warranty.
