The Gibson ES-125 was the companies entry level electric arch top from its introduction in 1941, and still represents excellent value in the vintage market as a relatively affordable vintage Gibson arch top from the Golden era of the companies manufacturing electric guitar manufacturing. This 1957 Gibson ES-125 is a fantastic example.

Featuring a maple top finished in Sunburst with Mahogany back and side along with a Mahogany neck with a Rosewood fingerboard, this guitar plays effortlessly. A single original Dog Ear P-90 in the neck position offers plenty of warmth with a good amount of bite when put through a cranked amp, with this being one of the fuller sounding P90's we have heard for some time.

This guitar is in excellent condition, with only the most minor signs of play wear and patina for an instrument of its age. The original sunburst finish remains vibrant with no areas of touch up.

The only change being a newer set of tuners and a replaced tailpiece. Otherwise, it is internally and externally original.

As with all our vintage instruments, this guitar has been given a full service and set up by the Vintage Instrument Workshop and includes our 2 year warranty.
