The Fender Custom Shop are known for producing some of the best modern recreations of vintage instruments around, and this 1960 Telecaster Custom Heavy Relic is a perfect example. Featuring an Alder body finished in a heavily aged Surf Green with top and back binding, the Custom Shop heavy relic treatment accurately recreates years of heavy play wear. The quartersawn Maple neck features a slab AAA grade Rosewood fingerboard and a early '60s style 'C' shape neck profile. The tuners, hardware and pick guard are all period correct and aged to match the finish, and the body is fitted with a set of hand wound Fender Custom Shop '1963' Telecaster single coil pickups for an authentic vintage tone.
This guitar is in all original condition and includes its original brown tolex Custom Shop case.
