The Fender Custom Shop are known for producing some of the best modern recreations of vintage instruments around, and this Time Machine collection 2021 Fender Custom Shop '57 Stratocaster is a great example. Featuring an Alder body finished in a vintage style 'Wide Fade' 2 colour Sunburst, the Custom Shop Relic treatment accurately recreates years of play wear and ageing from an instrument that has been well played, with plenty of checking and patina to the plastics and hardware. The rift sawn Maple neck features a chunky '57 spec 'Soft V' shaped profile that is particularly playable with the heavily relic'd rear, perfectly recreated by the Custom Shop luthiers to be as comfortable in the hand as possible. The tuners, hardware and pick guard are all period correct and aged to match the finish, and the body is fitted with a set of hand wound Fender Custom Shop '57 Strat single coil pickups for a beefy, full voiced vintage tone. Other features include Vintage Mod Strat wiring and a single ply parchment pick guard, seen on vintage Stratocasters until the middle of 1959.
This guitar is in all original condition and includes its certificate of authenticity, spec sheet and original tweed Custom Shop case.
