The Fender American Vintage series are regarded as some of the best guitars manufactured by Fender in recent years, expertly and meticulously recreating the specifications of some of their most iconic vintage models. This 2015 American Vintage '65 Jazzmaster combines period correct features and style for an authentically vintage playing experience.
Introduced in 1962 as the companies top of the line surf model, the Jazzmaster was initially not as popular as Fender would have hoped, but its unique style and tone would go on to find favour with alternative musicians in the following decades, cementing its place as one of the most popular Fender models of the modern era. This '65 reissue features many period correct specs, including a mid '60s style sunburst, '65 spec pickups and a bound round-laminated fingerboard and larger pearl dot inlays, introduced for the Jazzmaster in 1965. The Maple neck features a mid '60s 'C' profile and a 7.25" radius for an authentic vintage feel.
This guitar is in very good condition with only minor cosmetic signs of play wear. This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
