The Gibson Les Paul Traditional seeks to build on the original elements that made those '50s Les Pauls so special, with premium tone woods and vintage style electronics. This 2014 Gibson Les Paul Traditional was released in a limited run of approx. 300 guitars that came factory fitted with P90s and an optional Bigsby B7 and vibramate included in the case.
This guitar features a Mahogany body with a gold lacquer finish that is a nice nod to the very first Les Pauls produced in the early 1950s. The body is fitted with a set of Gibson single coil P90 soapbar pickups, with clarity and grit in equal measure. The gold finish has already started to age nicely on this example, with some hairline lacquer checking starting to appear on parts of the top. The neck features a 1 11/16ths nut width and a comfortable '60s slim taper neck profile.
This guitar is in excellent cosmetic condition with barely any signs of play wear, and includes its original Gibson case. It is currently set up with the Bigsby vibrato, but the original stop bar is retained in the case should you wish to have it re-fitted.
This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
