The Fender Custom Shop has long been the pinnacle of modern guitar manufacturing, offering both period correct vintage reissues and more modern takes on classic Fender models, finished with the highest attention to detail. This 2013 Fender Custom Shop Deluxe Stratocaster is a factory custom order, combining the modern tone and look of a Custom Shop Strat with some unique specifications. The Alder body is finished in a Firemist Silver Metallic lacquer that has gone without any relic treatment. Predating what is now the Postmodern range, this Deluxe Stratocaster features a contoured neck heel and modern fret size and fingerboard radius. The neck has been custom ordered to have a '57 style soft 'V' profile, while the traditional single coil bridge pickup has been upgraded to a Seymour Duncan Little '59 as part of the custom order process. Other features include abalone fret inlays and a two point synchronised tremolo. This guitar also includes its original custom shop case, certificate and spec sheet.
This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
