The Gibson Les Paul Custom Classic seeks to build upon the vintage inspired Classic range, with additional appointments that set it apart from the standard models offering a Les Paul Custom style guitar at a fraction of the price. This 2012 Gibson Les Paul Custom Classic features a Mahogany body with a carved Maple top and slightly yellowed Alpine White finish. The body is fitted with a set of Classic 57 hum bucker pickups, designed to perfectly capture the tone of an original 1950s PAF humbucker with Alnico II magnets. A traditional wind provides plenty of warmth and clarity, with just the right amount of bite when played through a tube amp. The neck profile is slightly less chunky, and is in line with the profile found on more contemporary Les Paul Customs. Other features include block pearloid inlays, split diamond headstock logo and Grover tuners.
This guitar is in excellent cosmetic condition with barely any signs of play wear, and includes its original Gibson case.
This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
