Gretsch guitars have always been renowned for their unique tone and style, and this 2004 Gretsch G6118-120 Anniversary model perfectly captures that heritage. Built in the Terada factory in Japan, these guitars were released to mark the 120th anniversary of the Gretsch company.
The body is constructed from the 3 ply maple design used by Gretsch hollow body guitars at this time, with a thinner laminate that gives the guitar added acoustic resonance. These guitars were finished in the lesser seen Bamboo Yellow and Copper Mist colour, setting this apart from other Anniversary models at the time. The body is fitted with a set of hand wound TV Jones Classic Filtertron pickups, and features a Bigsby B6 vibrato and the thumb fret markers. This guitar also includes its original case.
This guitar is in excellent condition and has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
