This 1989 Gibson Les Paul Standard is a great example of a late '80s Les Paul, incorporating all the features associated with these guitars that made them the flagship Gibson solid body for so many years. Constructed from a Mahogany body with Maple top and Mahogany neck, this guitar features a plain top with detailed grain and a Wine Red lacquer finish. The neck features a standard Gibson taper for the period and is comfortable and easy to play. The body is fitted with a set of Bill Lawrence Humbucker pickups, with a more hifi, detailed and clear output than other Humbuckers used bey Gibson over the years. Other features include a tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece, Grover tuners and the guitars original brown tolex case.
This guitar is in exceptionally clean condition and is internally and externally original. This guitar has been give a full service by our luthiers at The Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
