Introduced in the 1980s as Hohners affordable Stratocaster style guitar, the Marlin came in a number of forms, including more traditional models and some 'Super-Strat' guitars. This 1986 Marlin is based around a more traditional Stratocaster, with an Alder body and Maple neck, comfortable 'C' style neck profile, and three single coil pickups. This particular guitar was one of the last produced in Germany, before production moved to the Samick factory in Korea.
