Japanese made Fender instruments have long been the go-to for musicians looking for guitars with vintage Fender tone and style that won't cost as much as their USA made counterparts. Guitars made by Fender Japan in the '80s & '90s have become somewhat collectible in their own right, with an amazing build quality for the price. This 1985 'E' serial Fender Stratocaster is a great early example of a FujiGen made Fender guitar. Loosely based around a '50s style Strat, this guitar features a tinted gloss lacquer maple neck and a vibrant yellow finish with a single ply white guard. The neck profile is a comfortable '50s style 'V' and the body is fitted with a set of vintage voiced single coil pickups.
This guitar is in very good, original condition, with only very minor signs of play wear to the finish on both the back and front. This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
