This 1986 Fender '72 Reissue Paisley Stratocaster is the perfect example of a Japanese made Fender, combining the Paisley style found on a limited number of late '60s Telecasters with the specifications of an early '70s Stratocaster to make a unique MIJ creation. The Pink Paisley finish never featured on vintage Strats, but certainly looks the part on this Reissue model, with an Alder body finished in a vibrant Paisley pattern with shaded pink edge. Otherwise, this guitar stays true to the specs of a '72 Strat, with a three bolt neck design, Maple neck and large headstock. The pickups have all the chime and clarity you would expect from a Japanese made Stratocaster, along with a vintage style tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuners.
This guitar is in very good, original condition, with only the most minor signs of general player wear to the body and some play wear to the neck around the 1st and second fret. This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
