1984 Fender Stratocaster 12 String On Hold On Hold Japanese made Fender instruments have long been the go-to for musicians looking for guitars with vintage Fender tone and style that won't cost as much as their USA made counterparts. Guitars made by Fender Japan in the '80s & '90s have become somewhat collectible in their own right, with an amazing build quality for the price. This 1984 Fender Stratocaster was a unique guitar at the time, being the first electric 12 string the company had produced since the 1960s. Based around the traditional Stratocaster body shape, the Stratocaster XII features a string through body design with a hockey stick style headstock like the electric XIIs of the past. The Maple neck features a Rosewood board, with a comfortable C shape profile that is easy to get around. The body is fitted with a set of vintage style single coil pickups that perfectly recreate the presence and chime of a '60s Stratocaster, which when paired with the 12 string orientation give a beautifully chimey, 60s sound. This guitar is in very good, original condition, with only the most minor signs of play wear. This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
