An excellent example of the more affordable end of vintage Fender guitars, this 1979 Fender Stratocaster showcases many of the features that these '70s made Fender instruments became known for. Featuring a Maple neck an Alder body, and the distinctive larger headstock that makes these guitars so recognisable.
This guitar is in very good condition, with some small areas of play wear to the back of the neck. The body features the Cherry Sunburst finish offered by Fender in the late '70s and early '80s, sporting the kind of play wear you would expect from a guitar of this age. The neck has been refretted and a new nut fitted at some point in its life, leaving it playing excellently. The fingerboard has also been refinished, presumably as part of the refret process. The jack input has also been replaced. This guitar also includes its original Fender hard case.
As with all our instruments, this guitar has been given a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
