1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom

The Gibson Les Paul Custom has always been considered the companies top of the line solidbody model, featuring the same sought after Gibson humbucker tone as other models, but with a finish and level of detail that is a cut above the rest. This 1978 Les Paul Custom is a great example of the period.

Featuring a two piece Mahogany body and Maple top, this guitar is finished in a vibrant late '70s style Cherry Sunburst that has retained plenty of its colour over the years. The fretboard is in good condition, and the neck is comfortably playable without being too small in the hand. The pickups sound particularly good, with a beefier, hotter sound than we have had on other similar Les Pauls. As ever, this guitar features all the typical Les Paul Custom appointments, with gold hardware, multi ply binding and split diamond headstock inlay.

This guitar is in very good condition and includes a Gibson hard case.
