1977 Guild D35 Sold Out Sold Out Often underrated when compared to their equivalent Gibson or Martin models, Guild acoustics are some of the finest guitars out there, with their tone and build quality offering great value in the vintage market. This 1977 Guild D35 is a wonderfully clean example, with an open tone that is among the best we have heard from this period of Guild guitars. A great example of a Westerly, Rhode Island, made Guild guitar constructed from a Spruce top with the pressed Mahogany back used by guild at the time. This D35 has a nicely balanced, warm sound with a great deal of projection making it the perfect strummer or flat picker. This guitar is in excellent condition, with barely any play wear to speak of and only minor patina and ageing. It is internally and externally original and free of repairs, with the exception of a replacement set of tuners. This guitar also includes a non original hard case. As with all our vintage instruments, this guitar has been given a thorough service by the Vintage Instrument Workshop and is guaranteed for 3 years in line with our vintage instrument warranty.
