Nothing quite compares to the woody semi hollow tone and classic style of an ES-335, and this 1976 Gibson ES-335 if a wonderful example of a classic model, with these Walnut models having quite the cult following. Introduced in 1969, the Walnut option gives the 335 an unmistakable rootsy look, while retaining all the smooth bluesy tone that these guitars are so loved for. This particular guitar is without doubt one the cleanest vintage ES-335's we have come across.
This guitar is in excellent condition, with almost no signs of play wear to speak of. The Walnut still retains and deep brown finish, and the body is fitted with its original 'Tar Back' patent no. humbuckers. The wiring and other electronics appear original and are fully functional. A non original Bigsby vibrato has been added, but the original Nashville bridge is present and correct. All other hardware is original and in fantastic condition. This one is in near time capsule condition!
As with all vintage instruments, this 1971 ES-335 has been given a full service and appraisal by the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty. This guitar also includes its original case.
