Often underrated when compared to their equivalent Gibson or Martin models, Guild acoustics are some of the finest guitars out there, with their tone and build quality offering great value in the vintage market. This 1975 Guild D35 is a great players dreadnought, with an open, balanced tone and great volume and punch.
A great example of a Westerly, Rhode Island, made Guild guitar, constructed from a Spruce top with the pressed Mahogany back used by guild at the time. This D35 has a nicely balanced, warm sound with a great deal of projection making it the perfect strummer or flat picker.
This guitar is in very good condition, with the sort of play wear and patina to the finish that you would expect to see on an acoustic guitar of this age. There is plenty of visible play wear to the top and back, and our luthiers repaired a crack to the bottom edge of the guitar around the strap button.
As with all our vintage instruments, this guitar has been given a thorough service by the Vintage Instrument Workshop and is guaranteed for 3 years in line with our vintage instrument warranty.
