The 1970's saw changes for many models across the Fender catalog, with this 1973 Stratocaster being a thoroughly played in example of a '70s Stratocaster with plenty of vintage vibe. The original natural clear lacquer finish looks to have seen the inside of many a smoke filled bar, with plenty of play wear, lacquer checking and discolouration. Featuring a Maple neck an Ash body, this Stratocaster features the standard synchronised tremolo found on the majority of Stratocasters at this time, along with the 3 bolt micro tilt neck design. The neck is a comfortable rounded 'D' style profile, and has benefitted from a refret at some point in its life.

This guitar is in good condition with all of the obvious signs of wear and tear show in the pictures. The bridge saddles have been changed, as has the origin 3 way switch, with a modern 5 way switch. The tone pot has also been changed, and the middle pickup rewound. This guitar also includes a non original hard case.

As with all our instruments, this guitar has been given a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
