1973 Fender Stratocaster Sold Out Sold Out The 1970's saw changes for many models across the Fender catalog, with this 1973 Stratocaster being a wonderful example of a '70s Stratocaster with plenty of vintage vibe. Finished in a vibrant 3 colour sunburst, the first thing to note with this guitar is its particularly chunky neck profile when compared to any other we have had in store. It has a full, almost '50s style profile that is very playable, with plenty of room to dig in thanks to a modern-spec refret. Featuring a Maple neck an Alder body, this Stratocaster features the standard synchronised tremolo found on the majority of Stratocasters at this time, along with the 3 bolt micro tilt neck design. This guitar is in good, all original condition, with the exception of 1 changed tone pot, the refret and a new nut. The rest of the electronics, hardware and finish are all original and as they should be, with the other pots dating to the 4th week of 1973. This guitar also includes a non original hard case. As with all our instruments, this guitar has been given a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
