The Martin D-28 has developed a rich history over the years, and is seen by many as a true workhorse acoustic flat top, having been used by countless musicians across folk and rock music. This 1970 Martin D-28 is a perfect example of a Martin dreadnought of the period. With a nicely aged Spruce top and Indian Roswood back and sides, this guitar really sings and is very well balanced tonally. The typically understated look of this model is exactly as you would expect, with a black pickguard and set of Rotomatic Grover tuners, although the tone has a depth, detail and presence the surpasses its simplistic design.

This guitar is in very good condition, with some signs of play wear around the soundhole and lower edge of the pickguard. It is in original condition and free of any repairs.

This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
