Japanese made Fender instruments have long been the go-to for musicians looking for guitars with vintage Fender tone and style that won't cost as much as their USA made counterparts. Guitars made by Fender Japan in the '80s & '90s have become somewhat collectible in their own right, with an amazing build quality for the price. This 1987 Squier Stratocaster is a fantastic example of a Japanese made Fender, in near immaculate condition. Based around an early '60s model, this guitar features an Alder body with an Olympic White finish. The neck profile is a comfortable '60s style 'C' shape, with a rosewood board and pearl dot markers. The body is fitted with a set of vintage style single coil pickups that perfectly recreate the presence and chime of a '60s Stratocaster.
This guitar is in excellent condition, with almost no signs of play wear to speak of. This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
