This 2017 Lowden WL-35 Fan Fret is great example of just how much Lowden have done to reinvent luthier made acoustic guitars over the last 45 years, with an attention to detail and eye for the unique that is near unmatched. This WL-35 (Wee Lowden) model features a redwood top with Indian rosewood back and sides, with the small WL body shape showing that with some careful design, these small body guitar can pack just as much of a punch as their larger counterparts. The fan fret design is perfect for a nice balanced string tension, allowing the lower strings to ring out without having to use a particularly heavy gauge. Other features include gold Gotoh tuners with Ebony buttons, five piece neck design, and figured Sycamore binding and pear wood rosette. This guitar includes its original case.
