Introduced in 1947, the Gibson ES-350T was one of the companies flagship electric archtop guitars. This 1998 Gibson Custom Shop Limited Edition ES-350T is a rare example of a modern ES-350, with come updates that make it more versatile for modern players.
This 1998 Gibson Custom Shop ES-350T features a beautifully figured 17" wide thinline archtop body with a single Venetian cutway. The top, sides, and back of the laminated maple are all book-matched and strongly flamed. The guitar features a shorter scale length of 23 1/2 inches, along with a two-piece flamed maple neck mahogany centre strip with a comfortable '59 style profile. The neck is inlaid with pearl split-parallelogram inlays and a Brazilian rosewood fretboard, along with a pearl "Gibson" logo and pearl crown inlay in the headstock.
The headstock and fretboard are single-bound, the f-holes are single-bound, and the body is triple-bound on top and back. Other features include all gold hardware with an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic non-retainer bridge featuring a wire-loop tailpiece with "ES-350" on the cross-bar and metal saddles on a rosewood base bridge.
This guitar is in very good cosmetic condition and retains its original case and paperwork. There are only very minor signs of use to speak of, and it is internally and externally original.
This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
