2005 Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Yuriy Shishkov Master Design Telecaster

The Fender Custom Shop are known for producing some of the best modern recreations of vintage instruments around, and this 2005 Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Yuriy Shishkov Telecaster. The original Masterbuilt versions of this Telecaster were hand built buy Yuriy Shishkov for the NAMM show in 2005, with only 43 initially produced. This limited edition Master Design model was introduced later, with approx. 100 guitars team built by the Custom Shop to the original Masterbuilt design and specs.

Featuring a lightweight Ash body finished in a Journeyman Relic White Blonde lacquer, the Custom Shop Journeyman Relic treatment accurately recreates years of light plan wear and ageing from an instrument that has been well played, but also well looked after. The one piece AA grade flamed Maple neck features a 1959 style Oval 'C' shape neck profile, perfectly recreated by the Custom Shop luthiers. The tuners, hardware and pick guard are all period correct and aged to match the finish, and the body is fitted with a set of hand wound Fender Custom Shop Twisted Tele single coil pickups for a vintage tone with a slightly hotter output. Other features include a Fender stamped and aged Bigsby vibrato tailpiece and top loader bridge design. 

This guitar is in all original condition and includes its Masterbuilt spec sheet, certificate of authenticity, Yuriy Shiskov Custom Shop DVD and original black tolex Custom Shop case.

As with all our vintage instruments, this guitar has been given a full service and appraisal by the luthier at the Vintage Instrument Workshop and is guaranteed for 3 years in line with our vintage instrument warranty.
